What's on at West Chadsmoor Family Centre
Monday -
Brunch club

Are you searching for the ultimate brunch spot to chow down on delicious bites and enjoy a cuppa while mingling with friends or even making new ones? Look no further! Our Brunch Club is the place to be! We have an adult zone for just grown ups and a family area for those with little munchkins, were we will set up a treasure trove of toys to keep them happily entertained. Brunch bliss for everyone!
Tuesday - Introduction to sewing
9.30am to 11.30am
This is a simple sewing course helps provide adults with the basics of sewing and using a sewing machine allowing them to create simple home made crafts.

Toddler Time
10am till 11.30
This weekly session features toys and activities designed to assist children in their growth, learning, and accomplishments. Parents are encouraged to engage in play with their children, fostering a strong bond and a sense of security in early childhood.
PEEP Antenatal
9.30 - 11.00
Antenatal PEEP is an innovative program offered by our qualified practitioner, designed to support expectant parents from 28 weeks. These sessions focus on antenatal care, fostering a secure attachment and nurturing early learning development.The program spans over 5 weeks, and we invite new moms to continue their journey with our Baby Peep sessions after their baby arrives.

These sessions are designed to support your growing toddler as their reach new developmental milestones and help to make parenting journeys joyful!

Each session offers a variety of engaging activities that help toddlers growth through sensory exploration to motor skill enhancement.
Each week parents will have the opportunity to connect with other parents, share experience and gain knowledge.

Growing through the seasons is like a nature-filled adventure playground! Your little explorer gets to dig, plant pretty flowers, juicy fruits, and crunchy veggies in our fabulous allotment. It's not just about getting their hands dirty—it's a confidence-boosting, independence-building extravaganza! Plus, they’ll snag some social skills while learning the ropes of responsibility and patience, all while becoming eco-warriors in the process! 🌱✨

This session turned out to be one of the most popular at WCFC, inspiring us to bring it into the community. Every week, delve into a new story and craft amazing projects related to it. These sessions enhance children's communication and language skills while also instilling a sense of achievement.

Welcome to ABC - Adult Baby Chat! Our fabulous new mommies' club is perfect for parents with tiny tots from new-born to one year. Swing by for a refreshing drink and some delightful chit-chat! We’ve got a treasure trove of toys to help your little munchkin grow their smarts and socialise—because why wait to kickstart the fun?

Community TableÂ
£2.00 Per Family

Every Wednesday (times and days may vary during school holidays) and with support from our community partners, and as supplies permit, we provide a community table in the conservatory at the rear of the centre. Open to all who may be in need of a little bit of extra support. No judgement just a warm and friendly welcome
Thursday - FREE GROWING THROUGH THE SEASONS - for ages 12 months plus
10.00am - 11.30am
Our FREE Drop in Growing through the seasons is a gardening and craft session for young children and their parent/carer.
If you and your little one enjoy pottering around and being creative in the garden, being outdoors and love to freedom to play, dig, explore nature and the natural world around them as well as do weekly crafts in our outdoor an indoor class room, then this session is for you.

Thursday - PAMS Peer and mentor support with FREE Creche
1.00pm - 2.30pm
There is a well-known saying that you can't pour from an empty cup so our Mums only PAMS group provides you with the opportunity to take some time out for you and for someone else to make you that cup of tea!
Our small, intimate group offers you peer and mentor support and a well-deserved rest while the little ones are looked after by our wonderful Family Workers in the free creche.
