One to One Family Support

"Asking for help is not a sign of weakness but an immeasurable one of courage and strength"

Being a parent is the best job in the world but it can also be one of the most difficult. Unfortunately our little people do not come with an instruction manual!

As parents (and grandparents) ourselves we have all experienced times when it can all feel a little bit too much. When we doubt ourselves, feel overwhelmed by the pressures and responsibilities placed upon us or are not sure if we are being a good enough parent, are at a loss what to try next when we feel we have tried everything, or when life throws an unexpected curve ball at us.

Our fabulous Family Community Worker can be there to help, encourage, guide, empower and provide a listening ear, a shoulder to lean on and much needed support for as little or as long as you need

We work primarily with parents and families with a child in the household aged between 0-5 years but can also support families with a child upto the age of 10 years old and who are not currently receiving any form of existing support. With families who are unable to engage with statutory services (those provided by the local authority)  and with families either waiting to access, or who are exiting, a support programme and need a little helping hand to stay afloat or on track

Our support is completely free, confidential and non judgemental. There are no time restrictions so we can be there for as little or as long as you need us and our support is l00% led by you.

We are not social services. We can help with anything you need from supporting parental mental health and strengthening parental confidence, self esteem and resilience. We can provide support  to establish family routines and positive behaviour management, through to enabling you to access other support and services, introducing you to new friends and providing a safe and welcoming space for your little one to meet, learn, play and grow and everything else in between
